well, seeing as how there is already conga room, i think this could b real...

as for his website: i've been there b4 and it was legit. my guess is he just did a re-direct so prince's site shows up.

plus the artwork isnt original..its just a pic from the lotus site...however, i am curious as to how he found a similar font to the lotus album...

When I posted this thread I wasn't saying I had it and I just need to knock up some artwork. This is a pressed disc and as such has a release date. Like I said in the original post.

Back to the plot: yes, I am Prince and this is how I like to get unofficial material out. Also, have you seen Prince and El Web Sheriffo on the same stage? No. That's because I am also he. What can I say, Im a busy man. Singing, recording, releasing and then pulling music from tinternet.

This release is out at the end of the month so please save the ball busting until then.

Yes this is real, I had the same email. And, yes, that is the artwork from the front cover. It's not hard to understand really. Eye Records get together a release, they advertise it a month in advance to generate excitement and interest. They do this by circulating to people on the 'mailing lists'.

When the date arrives, people on the mailing list have the oppourtunity to buy it and then it gets copied and uploaded. Simple. I have no idea why you would assume it's 'fake'. Eye Records are an established 'pressed' release bootleg unit with countless releases under there belt. It makes no sense to advertise a 'fake'...none at all.

Anyway, it's out on the 27th of this month.
