COMMENT
An excellent very lengthy Purple Rain concert and a very surprisingly good audience recording. The show contains some unusual moments, most unusually 'Controversy' to open the show, a very passionate '4 The Tears In Your Eyes', and a full band version of 'Raspberry Beret'. Both
Bruce Springsteen and Madonna are present for 'Baby I'm A Star', which lasts for over 15 minutes and includes snippets from various other tracks as well as a solo from Mr. Springsteen. The closing 'America' is a mind-blowingly funky 15 minute jam. Unfortunately 'Purple Rain' has been taken from the final San Francisco show and NOT the LA concert, and is slightly less good quality (VG).
