Prince reQuest!

Hi I'm a total newbie here, but I'm asking for a favor

can someone upload the albums Xpectation, C-Note, The Chocolate Invasion, and The Slaughterhouse?

That are the only Prince-albums that I don't own of him, the other, I obtained by paying them, but this ones I can't find in the stores, neither on Itunes or the torrent sites

hope someone can help (it would also be a nice present for my girlfriend's b-day, who is also a prince fan)

i THINK they would count as official releases, but i'm not sure, i'd need to know if they were before uploading as official releases are not welcome here

they are hard to find though, i'd like to help

anyone give any clarity here, are these allowed to be uploaded or not?

They are officially released so it would be counterfeiting not bootlegging.

Technically, yes. Although they we released by fans they were sourced from the NPGMC so that sticks them in the copyright section of things!

I also know this 'cos I had one of the Ahdio shows pulled off eBay when I tried to sell one once. Something about 'Intellectual Copyright' The 'ole WS wasn't best pleased. Ha!

All of those you asked for are on the The royal badness blog which is now private. If you had came a month earlier it would ahve been yours and I might say it was a good site, but not a great as this one!

either soulseek or theres a torrent on piratebay for all Prince's albums , download that and just tick the boxes for the albums you require . Also try downloading from here :

The Work volume 5 disc 4
The Work Volume 9 disc 3

they have pretty much everything thats on Slaughterhouse and The Chocolate Invasion

Things like C-Note are impossible to buy as new, and unavailable in normal record shops..

So how come that can't be made available, when there are multiple Foefur remasters on here which are as near to official releases as can be??

Good point about the Foefur remasters. Some of the tracks are outtakes and some are just tweaked originals.

My personal view on it is if you can't buy it from a store, then it's fair game. Prince isn't losing any money if it's not available to buy anywhere - and that's the point isn't it?

Unfortunatly Xpectation, C-Note, The Chocolate Invasion, and The Slaughterhouse are not allowed here.
