COMMENT

In comparison to the other 2 London aftershows from March 1995 this is the shortest, and perhaps the least impressive. The recording is of very high quality, but is not without it's problems. There are a number of crackles throughout the recording, and there is some serious distortion on a few songs. That said the recording is impressive with very little audience noise and the show is loud and clear. The show begins with a guest spot from both George Benson and Chaka Khan during 'Glam Slam Boogie'. Chaka Khan stays on stage for the next two tracks before the NPG begin playing their own mini-set with 'Love...Thy Will Be Done'. Their set is short of the spectacular, and whilst it is very enjoyable there is little change from many others from the same period. The show does however close with a great 10 minute version of 'Get Wild' which unusually includes the "Pick a funky outfit short and see-through" rap from the studio version. The release closes with 'Gold' played over the PA, however it is identical to the version released on the Gold Experience album. This is a great release even with the slight glitches during the recording, but the performance doesn't quite match up to the other London aftershows from the same month.
