COMMENT
An extremely good document of the final show of the Parade tour, and the very last Prince & The Revolution concert. The sound quality is surprisingly impressive, and is (thankfully) the best of the 4 Japanese 1986 shows in circulation. The show was held in a 50,000 stadium, yet the quality of the recording is like that of a much smaller venue, and it has a rather intimate feel to it. There is the occasional drop-out, and some tiny parts of the show are missing, however they really are very minimal. The show itself contains some very unusual and unique moments including a few lines from 'Hot Thing' added to 'Head'. The undoubted show highlights occur in a few places, and include a very lengthy piano segment with rare performances of 'Do U Lie?', 'The Ladder' and 'Condition Of The Heart'. 'Sometimes It Snows In April' is also given an airing, and ends on a rather emotional note with Prince thanking Wendy & Lisa. The closing 'Purple Rain' is extremely lengthy, and the show ends leaving a lump in your throat knowing that this is the last ever time The Revolution would perform together as a band. I'd actually rate this as one of the more important bootlegs in circulation both in terms of quality of the performance, and for the obvious 'end of an era' that it is.

I wish some of the hits were longer as opposed to highlights. Very cool though, thanks!

It could be me, but I seem to be missing a couple of files. I've downloaded both pt. 1 & 2 and am missing track 20 from disc 1 and tracks 2, 4 & 6 from disc 2. Any help that anyone could supply would be most appreciated. This is really a first rate quality show... I've heard much lesser sources and am delighted to have this in my library now...
