Wow Signals Tour. Hard to find any boots from this tour. Thanks. I wish I could find a good soundboard, if one even exists and is being circulated. From the way you described it, looks like the audio quality from this one is par for the course. I have "Signals from London" 5-21-1983 and "Digital Men" Detroit 11-8-82 if there is any interest in me posting them. I would describe the sound quality of those as about 7/10 also.

I am definately going to d/l this show to see if your "7/10" is better than my "7/10" - Thanks!!

FHS: Oh, I'd love to hear the Digital Men boot, which I don't have. I wonder why there are so few Signals tour boots. Any ideas?

Cheers,
BH

I wish I knew. I have a hard time finding good sounding Moving Pictures and Permanant Waves boots as well. I don't know why there is a lack of them from this period.

I'll upload the Digital Men for you but it may take a week or so since its the holiday and I have family stuff and traveling to do. I'll send you a PM when I post it. FYI - mine sounds a bit better. More treble and when Geddy is playing the Ric, you gotta have some high end with that fat bottum!!

Oh fuck that noise. I just realized you are the guy who uploaded "Work of Gifted Hands", which I am enjoying tremendously. Incredible boot!! I will have Digital Men up for you before I go to sleep tonight!

Taking an incredibly long time to up!! I'm doing it on Mega because its 650 MB and I didn't split it up into parts when I compressed the songs (because I didn't realize it would take so long). Mega says I have about 5 hours left and it is upping at only 33 KB per second. Is this typical?

Whoops...had a crash. All progress erased into cyberspace. I am going to have to start again tomorrow. I need to figure out why its taking so long to upload. It seems like 650 MB is a bit large for 20 or so songs....something ain't right.

Anybody have any suggestions?

FHS: 650mb does seem rather large. Perhaps the files are .wav files and need to be converted to .mp3?

But I appreciate all your work and I'm looking forward to hearing the show. I'm in no rush (pun intended!).

Cheers,
BH

Yep - they are in wav file. It seems the ability to convert wav to mp3 has expired on my converter freeware. I'll figure something out - worst case scenario I can transfer them to you using Yahoo chat!
