Rush - Digital Men November 08, 1982 Joe Louis Arena, Detroit, Michigan for Blanhand
From Digital Rush Experience:
DISC 1
The Spirit of Radio 5:26
Tom Sawyer 5:27
Freewill 5:29
Digital Man 6:48
Subdivisions 5:25
Vital Signs 5:05
The Camera Eye 6:55
Closer to the Heart 3:24
Chemistry 5:00
The Analog Kid 4:50
DISC 2
Broon's Bane 1:40
The Trees 4:26
Red Barchetta 6:30
The Weapon 7:07
New World Man 4:03
Limelight 4:54
Countdown 5:21
2112 6:24
Xanadu 2:23
La Villa Strangiato 3:28
In the Mood 3:03
YYZ / Drum Solo 8:34
For some reason, my version is missing Spirit of Radio, Closer to the Heart and the 3:00 snippet of La Villa that they played on that tour. But it has all the Signals tunes, including Chemistry which was lopped off the setlist soon into the tour. I also threw in an extra drum solo from the Permanent Waves tour.
Additionally, I hate it when people beg for thanks in their posts - but in this instance, it took me a few hours to upload (I think because they are wav files) so if only one person can post and let me know that the upload worked, I would be most appreciative.
Here is the link - and it might take a while to download (its 605 MB) but I found a site that lets me upload huge files....

Excellent and thank you! I'm downloading the file now. "Chemistry" is such a great song, and it's good to hear it live. I saw Rush on this tour in Largo, MD and they played it--lucky for me!
Cheers,
BH

Yeah - I caught the show in Greensboro, North Carolina. I was about 13 years old and had not seen many concerts yet (although later that year I would see The Police, Van Halen, Judas Priest and Iron Maiden). I walked out of this one a little closer to God (Neil Peart) and this show pretty much set the standard for all other concerts I have seen since. Lucky me I saw Chemistry also - but what I really get off on is the live version of Digital Man. They should put that one back in their set if they tour for the new album they will release soon!

FHS: I've listened to this Rush show and I think it's great. The sound is clear for an audience show, especially on the song "Subdivisions." Actually, I suspect Subdivisions is from a different source or show because the sound is so much different, almost like a soundboard, and the audience isn't nearly as loud. There also isn't that distance that the rest of the show exhibits. I don't know for sure, but the more I listen, the more I'm assured this is the case.
Also, what is labeled "Xanadu" is actually "The Spirit of Radio." Everything between "YYZ" and "Countdown" is missing however.
Thanks again for a great show and post!

Hmmm...sorry about the confusion. I am uploading Countdown to rapidshare - it will take about half an hour. That's all of the show I have, unfortunately.
Next I will upload Signals from London (unless you already have it) which sounds better than Digital Men, in my opinion.
Actually, yesterday when I was surfing the Deep Purple Hub, I found a Signals Tour that rivals all three shows that we are discussing. Its just as confusing as my upload, as you will see, but the sound is excellent. I wont post a link to it here because I noticed that site is even more anal than this one about links and credits and thank you's, etc and I don't want to piss anyone off.
But it is called: "RUSH - XANADU - Rotterdam 03.05.1983 - 2 LP record". I posted a link to the DigitalRushExperience.com for the show that I think it really is and I would highly recommend it for your collection if you do not already own it.
I'll post Countdown in the coming hour. Glad you liked the part of the show that I had!!
