Just don't see much of this stuff around....in fact not at all. Hard to describe these two guys going at it.......Two grasshoppers on Meth?..........a squeaky window frame in a hurricane?....I'm astounded Cobham keeps up....Saw these guys at the Jazz Oasis at Summerfest in Milwaukee WI. Absolutely blown away..........

Santana/McLaughlin '73

This is an incredible show! MY GOD!! Incredible playing and the sound quality is mint.

Thanks so much for this one. I've listened to it twice in its entireity since downloading it this afternoon! This is incredible stuff.

If someone can help me out with breaking up the file into 2 parts so I can burn it to discs(s) that would really help me out! PLEASE?

In the mean time, here's some basic art I threw together for this very important show.
The spine is meant to match the one on the remastered reissue of "LOVE DEVOTION SURRENDER" which is the album they were touring to promote at this show.
The B&W ad is from a 1973 issue of ROLLING STONE MAGAZINE promoting the tour. All the dates are listed at the bottm but them came out a little small on my art.

Great cover man! It is one of the finest moments in electric guitar history.

They way I split stuff up is with a sound editor, like soundforge, wave flow, or something of that nature. Try cnet . com, and look for a free editor.

Santana/McLaughlin CHICAGO

Hey DD!

Unfortunately I know hardly anything about computers so dowloading bootlegs and creating basic art is as far as I go.

I'm sure that there are some very good programs out there for divideding up tracks but am totally out of my league with that kind of stuff.

Does my artwork work as a trade for a seperated download of the show?

I'm actually listening to it right now (fior the third time today) and it is an incredible show of what can be done on the guitar.

You can split mp3 tracks with Nero pretty easy. That's how I always do it
because it's really nerve racking if you wanna listen to a song at the end of the CD and you only got 1 track!

Happy

Santana/McLaughlin

I was able to get the thing divided into 2 tracks so I can get it onto a couple discs.
I have listened to this thing at least a dozen times since it was first posted. LOVE IT.

Does anyone have anymore wild Santana stuff like this?

PS. I noticed that at the end of "Afro Blue" they throw in a few quotes from Coltrane's version of "My Favorite Things".

GREAT STUFF!!!
