Reprise would be awesome.
havent seen any other stuff of this sorts, meaning from Pepper, out yet. however, after running across Queen multitracks (BoRap and
Killer Queen, in their entireties) and
Marvin Gaye (Aint No Mountain...) as well, i'm sorta thinking that there may be a 'new wave' of bootleggery coming round the mountain.
it;d make sense that as a generation who has grown up with mp3/porta-digi recorders/et al becomes the incoming workforce in studios/tape libraries/etc, that there'd be a percentage of those folks who;d see the myriad
benefits to humanity of having access to multitracks of Rubber Soul & Revolver, DSOTM, Aja, whatever.
as a holdover for the Pepper stuff, the
Loveology set offers up oodles and oodles of similar stuff. while not solo'd tracks per se, the extreme seperation allowed by the 5.1 mix (from which the Loveology tracks are extracted) resulted in some pretty solo'd stuff. essentially, its tracks and tracks of
just guitar, or
just vox, or
tambourine & horns, whatever. imho, its essential material, at least until the actual multis for the material becomes available.
fingers crossed/
