first off let me say that I am sorry if I have offended anyone in any language in the last couple days, it was not on purpose and I ask for your forgiveness, this post is however another story though.

I found this forum originally sometime in late December 2007, while sitting in my sons room at Childrens Hospital here In Denver, he was recovering from surgery. He had just undergone brain surgery to implant a shunt, if you don't know what that is well take the time to look it up. This was done to relieve the build up of fluid there caused by a condition called hydracephalus, a side effect of the Ppina Bifida he was born with Dec 6, 2007. Thankfully his twin sister was born quite normal. Henry ( Henri') underwent his first surgery at 1 day old to close the opening in his back that he was born with. part of his spinal cord was exposed when he came into this world. yesterday when Henry woke up vomiting his mother and I were alarmed, it is one of the signs that may mean shunt failure 40% of shunts will fail within the first 5 months, 60% within 6 months, we thought "please God, no" thankfully he has just a stomach virus, but for his whole life we will probably need to take him to the emergency room for common ailmants just to make sure.
what I am getting at, if anyone is still with me, here, there are a hell of a lot more important things in life than doing this, especially for a bunch of UNGRATEFUL fucks! (this is where the rant begins!)
Little more background here.
I started trading analog tapes in the mid 90's right after Jer died and the internet was starting to bloom, it would take weeks sometime to arrange a trade, copy tapes, mail them and then get your new ones back. I collected about 1200 tapes in 4 years.
approx 1999 I got my first CD burner, the net was exploding and trading sites were blooming, what used to take weeks maybe took a few days or so. I managed to grow my collection to about 2000 CD's.
Do you people have any idea how long it takes to prepare a show for posting here? It can be hours to convert MY cd's.
Trading was always just that, you gave something you got something, oh sure there were times that I would send b&P's ( blanks and postage) that is, to some KIND soul who was willing to copy some music for nothing in return, other than THANKS.
Lost my job right after W took office, and was living so far out in the sticks I couldn't get any Highspeed. so I went offline.
Till this past December, and wow.. look at this I can download all the music I want in HOURS minutes even.
I decieded I would give something back, my first post was a retracking of a show that Dex originally posted in one of those single .wma files he's been known to do, I was playing with some new software and cut the show into separate tracks. Feb 08 it looks like looking back at the post, Howlin' Wolf here in Denver 1973.
Then The floodgates opened with the Dead, 157 threads started 350 plus files UPLOADED and dled of course. Not all GD by any means CSN&Y, some Jimi, Elvis, Miles. etc etc everything from 128K Mp3 to FLAC of some.
I spend hours ripping, converting labelling zipping and uploading these shows.

How long would it take to become a member here and post a quick thanks? 15 maybe 20 seconds, but you are too damn lazy, stupid thoughtless, _____ ( insert what the fuck you are here)

I am not cutting everyone off, that would not be nice to do to the people who appreciate this.
