Thanks for the post! Stevie Ray was killed in the helicopter crash on 8-27-90.

Yes he was but he played his last show the day after this on 8/26/90. And no one has yet to release a ROIO of that show, all ROIO's of it are not that great. I listen to mine, but some one somewhere has a SBD. recording of it. But is respectful not to release it. He boarded the helo at appx 12:30 am 8/27/90

Thanks. I was at this Saturday show. He died after the Sunday show after midnight at 12:44 a.m. I still feel sick to my stomach 17 years later when I think about SRV dying the way he did. I met him at Buddy Guy's Blues legends bar in Chicago months before his last show. Great man. Great show.
