Thanks! Any idea if this is the same source as "Alone in the Ozone"?

First off -- many thanks to DeXonDAZ for posting this excellent recording. Sublime performance and truly fine recording quality.

Second -- Although I do not have "Alone in the Ozone," the tracklists I've read on the net for it differ by one song from the track list offered here. IN this case, it appears "Alone..." is missing "Mary Had a Little Lamb." I've also run across another pressing of this performance, supposedly also a soundboard, called "Out of the Shadows." However, this pressing also is missing one track compared to that offered here by DeXonDAZ, but it is a different piece -- "Out..." is missing "Tin Pan Alley."

Thanks once again DeXonDAZ!

Same as "Alone in the Ozone"?

Feh -- Only took me two minutes to see a contradiction to my posting... and right here on guitars101! Haven't heard this, but supposedly the following post contains a pointer to "Alone in the Ozone," and you'll see that the track listing indeed contains "Mary Had a Little Lamb." So go figure... Looks like the upload has expired and is no longer available on mediafire, so I can't confirm.

Alone In The Ozone - University of California, Davis, CA, 24nov84. “Out of the Shadows” is the same as “Alone in the Ozone.” They are both identical sound wise (sound board recording that is very good quality). They have different graphics and both are well designed. This is a good concert with a very BB Kingish song called “Lost Your Good Thing Now.” This is a very nice recording. Better than “Live Alive.” A pretty long interpretation of Voodoo Chile is followed by a really soulful rendition of “Lost Your Good Thing Now.” Other highlights -- Stangs Swang, Rude Mood. Texas Flood and Lenny remind me a lot of the Japan '85 show. SRV's intro to "Lenny" has shades of what he would later flesh out and record as "Riviera Paradise". A nice show!
