way too much now, seems like extortion to me to ask folks to pay to get an ad free experience that is available many other places for bootlegs.

listen, install alll the blocks you want folks, if too dumb to do that for the love of God DO NOT CLICK ANY ADS' not even out of curiosity.
that's how they collect their money by clicking the ads, nobody ever won a Wii or anything else from here.

seems like the most effevtive campaignn to remove the ads here would be to emaill all the record companies you can google and let them know about the money making venture they gave going on here.
I know there are a few bands that allow trading of this stuff online as lone as there is no, nada, zip money being made by th venture, and sorry admin here, I know Rhino sees any ads, even just to pay server bills ( yeah right) as a reason to sue orat least get a cease and desist order

or course you could start your own forums, a venture many have done, but be warned, they will consume your life and may turn it completly inside out. fighting amongst members, innuendo and all sorts of nasties. just ask KissFan420, bscott, aikowolf.

you know as a wonderful last option too, you could learn to torrent and have ready access to literally 100,000's of recordings in lossy & lossless formats and forget this whole place.. wish I could but it's a recurring nightmare.

look I am giving folks a choice of options if they don't like the ads, I for one would never email any record company.
but I know many places have been sucessfully sued to stop & decist for less than this place is doing.

you love it? well do something for the good to change it then..

and as gfar as talking shit, The admin of this board care not about the bootleg section, thats why there are 2 mods that ever do anything in it. it's the largest $ection here by far and they just keep adding more & more ads to it so they can ca$h in, they know they can't require like a paid member$hip for folk$ or they lose their $hirt$ in court, $o they a$$ault folks with annoying ad$. I believe the longtime GUITAR member$ really just love what the boot $section has done to thi$ place.
