Your favorite bootlegs!
There are so many bootlegs here that it starts to get really confusing. So my suggestion is to have atleast one thread where people could write their favorite bootlegs that they recommend to others. I think you should also mention whether it is a soundboard or not and why do you like it so much. This thread should also be a Sticky.. Thanks

I think this is an excellent suggestion.
I don't have a list myself
but you might find this useful
http://rateyourmusic.com/list/Jock/m..._live_bootlegs
you could also try googling recommended bootlegs, favorite
bootlegs or whatever.

Ok, so the title could have been better, for example "What are your favorite bootlegs?" Anyway, I would really like to know some good bootlegs because there are so many here.. Thanks irish for the link, hopefully more people will post to this thread.

I could easily make a list of about 200 bootlegs that I think would qualify as favorites but the problem is that my definition of a favorite may not be the same as your definition. For me, I'm far more apt to download an average performance in outstanding sound quality than an outstanding performance in average sound quality. Not everyone agrees with me on that point.

It would help to know what type of music your into. I would hate to recommend Queen when you like thrash, etc.

Mine is called Face To Face a 1998 Tokyo Dome show from Billy Joel & Elton John. Fantastic sound and a great set list!!! My second would be the Chicago 1989 Tokyo show that i posted here before. Great sound where the band seemed to be having fun. And as for a third any great sounding boot from Type O Negative!!!!

Chicago 12/01/1977 Terry Kath's last show
Puddle Of Mudd

and if you should come across anything and could post it i would be forever grateful...
Thank You!!!

Thanks for all the replies. Someone ask what sort of music Iīm into. Well I like Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam, Neil Young, Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, Lucinda Williams, The Doors, Jane's Addiction, David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen, Rush, Jeff Buckley etc. What I like to find is some great soundboard boots that have something special in them, I really donīt know how to explain, but I think you know what I mean.. And Yes, keep those lists coming. Thanks

My favourite bootleg probably is "Black Sabbath live in Worchester 1983": Outstanding sound and Ian Gillan on vocals.
Another favourite is "Led Zeppelin at Knebworth 1979" from their latter days. Excellent Sound, great performance.

This is a great idea, as it can be so hard to navigate one's way thru all of the great material posted here! As for my favourite bootleg, that would be Pink Floyd Time In London 11/16/74. Best.DSOTM.Boot.Ever. Although I really am a fan of any '70's PF boots...
