Real Backing Tracks?

Hey Guys, new here........Great Site...

Ive heard alot of backing tracks, and some of them are even authentic(the real thing from the real band) like a few of the Metallica tracks that i have. My question is- Where can you get these "real tracks"? Is it even possible to get the un-mixed tracks so that I can mix it myself in sonar, for practice and fun?
Any help would be great.
Thanks Guys

Well most of mine are 'real' mainly because they come from magazines and boks over here in England, a lot of the premier mags, like Guitar Techniques, and Total Guitar use real instruments to record with thus a 'Live' band is playing the tracks?
In fact on my Thin lizzy tracks there's Whisky in the Jar which actually has Eric Bell playing on it, (Original Lizzy guitarist.) and on Don't Believe a word Brian Robertson is playing.
