Different kind of jam...
Tried to get a jam that would be more like what would happen irl. Worked out pretty decent. I changed setup in mid go though so that kind of messed things a little. Anyway, Naifuzan is the other player. I put him on the r and me on the l.
This took a little longer than most jams seem to (my fault mostly), but I think it was worth it. We just kept trading back and forth and leaving a couple blank spots where the other guy could do something. I tried to do q/a kind of thing with that, don't know how well that went, but on a whole it went nice...in no small part due to Naifuzan's playing. We used the same technique used in "forum jams" to swap tracks. Each trade off was a seperate track...we didn't merge anything pre-mix.
It might be interesting to run a battle this way...

My idea!!!
NR,
you must have been reading my mind! Iwas just telling a buddy at the Vai show yesterday that I would like to do the same thing, except I wanted to do a part, send it, have some one do a response and send it back and so on until we get it done.

Are you sure you got the right one? Naifuzan starts and ends, both.
Anyway, if you do then thanks. I keep wondering if I am improving at all.
