Re: HERE IS THE COMPLETED \'ROCKTOBER\' JAM
I really like your tone there Phil28uk. It sounds real familiar but I can't quite place it. Reminds me of some of the recordings with Steve Morse, Jeff Beck and Rick Emmit. May I ask what processor your using? I have a GNX1 but I didn't use it on the Rocktober Jam since I played on Jimmy's equipment.
Thanks much Wah - as they say down in southern Texas, "Ahh hell - we got 'er done!"
Hey Dannyboy - your quite welcome - I really love your style and tone. (BTW - My son's name is Daniel and I call him Dannyboy too!)

I used a Boss GT3 in this jam. I used my Ibanez RG1570 and backed off a litle bit on the volume.

Cool Phil - I was going to buy that processor but went for the GNX1. It sounds frickin awesome.

Re: HERE IS THE COMPLETED \'ROCKTOBER\' JAM
lol thanks andrew ... alot of you seem to be overlooking mr limborg here ... i thougt his part was pretty damn excellent . well written . rather than him just pressing record and making it up as he went along he put a real effort into it . i kinda felt clowe could have done much better . probably take offence from that . but you had plenty time to make a part without any mistakes . yet your part is laiden with mistakes . but ok nvm . i wont say anymore or people will start being bitchy again . but yeah . stigs part was nicely harmonized and phils note choices screamed vai . and james for me was just the cream of the crop . great note choices . me must go learn yourt part infact mr limborg haha

Re: HERE IS THE COMPLETED \'ROCKTOBER\' JAM
Hey Danny. Theres nothing wrong with you complimenting Mr Limborg on his work, he deserves the props, but leave your snide remarks about clowe's intro out of it. It's a jam of varying levels of experience. For some reason you always have to leave some non constructive remarks about another persons playing because it doesnt suit your taste.
Clowe did a fine job. I understand your opinionated, we all are to some degree, but most of us have the tact and decorum to keep it to ourselves when it concerns anothers playing.
None of us put in a perfect piece, and we can all improve on ourselves.

Re: HERE IS THE COMPLETED \'ROCKTOBER\' JAM
i understand that dude . but im sure he could have taken time out to make a better job of it . im not up to kissing peoples asses . you dont improve if people tell you you are excellent . even if he has only been playing a few months .. why not try something a little less technical and go for a nice melody . you can tell me what you just told me over and over but ive heard it all before . i would rather be honest and see everyone improve vastly . than simply suck it up and tell em all the did a great job . cause to be frank . sometimes .. people dont do a good job . so how about you accept that man . i want the guy to get better . i dont wanna tel him hes a god when he aint . its just how i am . deal with it dude . he can ignore my comments if he wants to im not forcing him to take note of them .

Re: HERE IS THE COMPLETED \'ROCKTOBER\' JAM
not a problem. but be prepared for everything you post to be put under a microscope.. Like you do everyone elses. Theres a huge difference between being honest, and being snide about it. And no one told him he was a god. Just that he did a good job. Maybe if we're not up to your "god" standards, you should find a more suitable place for your talent, or refrain from insulting people because you think your its your way of dealing with it.
A little praise and applause goes alot farther than being disruptive and difficult.
Try helping the guy, instead of knocking him down and kicking him.

Re: HERE IS THE COMPLETED \'ROCKTOBER\' JAM
i dont think im above everyone else . i just dont see why everyone is obsessed with kissing ass . if i wasnt very good i would want people to tell me .. if i wasnt very good and people said i was good and did a good job .. i would end up walking round thinking i was good .. when in reality im not .. how about you let me be the dose of reality on the site . and everyone else can continue being goody goodies . if brainpolice was here he would back me up .. but hes not .. so technically im kinda by myself here . im not asking you to agree with me . i just have my own way of trying to help people . just as you have yours . we aint all the same . so stop trying to get me to conform
