Jam

Melodic Jam 2 - The Sequel

For you listening pleasure - I hope.....

0:00-52:00--Wyzyguy - Thanks for letting me take a whack at mixing this one. Learned quite a bit from having to fit six different levels and tones into the mix. Timing worked out perfect with the clicks at the beginning of everyones tracks. I went for a raw tone to keep the diversity up. Everyone has a distinct voice on this one. Very fun to be part of. Without further delay......

52:00-1:42-VHFAN - Thanks for stepping in at the last moment

1:42-2:32--synthz - Interesting keyboard approach - very cool

2:32_3:22--JPF- Nice tone, glad you decided to join

3:22-4:13--megaverb- Thanks for organizing this, nice work on your part

4:13-End--axe2grind - Way to finish it up

Good takes and lots of variety of tones there!

But my track isn't sync... it's off-sync pretty badly would you mind fixing it please?

I took a look at it. The reason is I had no frame of reference with out the click track at the beginning. Let me know exactly timewise where you want to come in at and I will make the change. Thanks

I had a tough time with VHFans part. The part is in heavy effect. It was tough to get a balance in the mix and still have the part cut through.

Everything sounds great wyzyguy!!!! Seems everything lined up good, and the different tonal qualitys from everyone, really make it truly jam style. It is surprising to me, and maybe it's just me, but several of us kinda get a similar flow going, which is cool!!! Can't wait to jump in on another some time!!! Great job guy's, all of ya!!!!

Sounds great Wyz...I agree my part was washed out with a bit too much reverb.....I should have backed it off a bit...mistake on my part for sure.

As for timing issues......if people don't send you their track with the first few seconds of BT....what can you do?

Insteresting jam...very nice playing and tones from all!

Yep, v.cool jam guys, great takes by all !. Some really nice playing and tones, Wyz I'm envious of your rig you have listed.... Nice mixing job, Is this one your first ? good job, it all sounded cool. I agree that Synthz take was a fraction out but if it did not have the begining clicks at the begining then that would have eaten up the 1 second need for it to be perfectly in sync. Its a must that all who jam, follow the requirement of the person mixing it. I think as the mixer, its best to make those not send correctly to do again until all is perfect. I learnt that first time round too !...I'm quite strict now...hehe

Good work all and was a pleasure to jam with y'all.

I still want it to be fun. I have no problem changing it to a different time. Good learning experience.

Thanks
