Jam

Rock Jam One Complete!

OK, here we go with the part one of the Rock Jam!

Some great playing here, so thanks to everyone who got involved... especially the new kids on the block. Good to see some fresh blood on this Jam as well as the regular MF's! Cool shit!

Special props to Guitar Kid for jumping into his first jam and taking on the longest slot (and with the knowledge you're gonna be followed by the virtuosic Wah).

My hats off to you fella... those big bollocks you have swinging around must make playing your geetar an endurance event!

Jam 1 :

0:00 - 1:00 :: Elecjoy
1:00 - 1:49 :: mogo22
1:49 - 3:14 :: Guitar Kid
3:14 - 4:03 :: Wahwah
4:04 - 5:04 :: Axe2grind

Some comments!

mogo22: Mate you have that rock vibe going on dude! I loved the way you started your slot with some killer phrasing... and those Satch'esque octaves were lovely!

Guitar Kid: Sounds good, your obviously still finding your feet but that's cool! Good to hear some earthy playing not hidden in effects.

Wahwah: Screamin rock guitar; which I just can't get enough of mate! Awesome!

Axe2grind: Cool tone and some real tasty playing - you tear it up in places... yeah, I like this alot!

Cheers E.

Great mix man!

Wow way to open it up. Some killer shredding going on! Tough act to follow.

Guitar Kid, playing with people more experienced than you will help you get better more quickly. Keep it up. You had a few cool licks in there.

Wah Wah, that wasn't very good you need to practice somemore.

LOL J/K, that was amazing!

Axe2Grind, some awesome licks in there, had more of a rock feel too.

That was my first jam here. It was pretty fun.

Elec... you blow me away more and more each time i have the pleasure of hearing you. You are definitely my favourite player on this site along with Danzi. i just love your tone, your phrasing, your chops ... its just top class everytime.

mogo, i like the groove you have going on and your phrasing is just killer. your tone is also very cool. kick ass stuff man.

Guitar Kid. i can only echo what elecjoy has already said. Kudos on jumping in on this jam. If you keep jamming with guys of this calibur you will be killer in no time. sounds like you have a great foundation to work on.

Chris... where do i start. I always enjoy your playing, you have a great ability to take on many styles wether it be EVH or Gary Moore or anybody ... really great cleanly executed playing with fabulous tone.

axe2grind really cool use of harmonics and really cool phrasing to keep the listener listening. lovely tone too, it has balls but its not drenched in reverb or delay like the more conventional rock tones. great way to finish off the jam

Elecjoy - Your an amazing talent, along with Ender my fave player here. Your tone, phrasing, legato, tapping is just jaw dropping.

mogo22 - Some great ideas thrown in here, really nice tone and some great bends.

Guitar Kid - It's obvious you are a beginner and it's great that you come on here and enter these jams with these monster players. You are in the best place to improve your playing.

Wahwah - Straight in for the kill with your squealing guitar which you make it sound easy to do. Great tone and licks from one of the masters on here .

Axe2grind - Another one with great tone. Some real nice pentatonic licks.

Well done all and good mix too.

Great jam guys. Nice use of harmonics. I've got a lot of practicing to do.
Enjoyed it.
