Jam

ZEP JAM Complete!!!!

Here's the completed Zep Jam. This was a whole load of fun to do - notes are flying around like stray bullets! Hope you enjoy this, it features some of the most mental playing i've heard for quite some time LOL, especially since the whole thing was turned around in 48 hours. An honour to be jamming with you guys!

See the thread in the 'jams' forum for all the details.

Enjoy.

EDIT: Here's the new mix: number 3! Hopefully everyone will be happy with this!

sounds great guys , although maybe it was just my speakers but the backing seem to totally overpower all the solo's i could barely hear some of the fireworks that were goin on ! .. it's a pretty full on powerful backing i must say ,

again might just be the way things come through on my 5.1 speakers

Yeah Stig, I'll do another mix and lower the BT... it is a powerful backing though.

Actually, this still needs some work. I'll post up a new mix later, and leave this one 'as is' for the mo'.

Cheers E.

LOL yeah, well my Carvin had to sit out of this one. The Squire Stagemaster only cost 50 quid, but does the job I guess!

Thanks CC, and Sluice and whoever gave this thread 5 Stars!

had a good listen , thought jammer 2 was outstanding, got totally in the groove , for a zep influenced jam i feel it was still perceived as a shred jam by some posters and for me it simply did not groove. zep aint about flash, it grooves and it has soul , a truly worthwhile listen, some very over the top playing and the players show themselves as very technically accomplished musicians but i feel jammer no 2 shone for me,.
well done dude !!

It's all good man, and yeah, Nai is all about groove!

The 'Zep Jam' title was only in relation to the style of backing. Remember, nobody hears each others slot until the whole thing is complete, so the shred nature of the finished article is quite coincidental. Then again I guess you could have seen it coming when looking at the players involved LOL

Thanks for listening!
