Dawn and Fall
The Rusty hinges of earth spin round
winters teeth eat the ground
and it gives in at last
and the stars still shine from the past
The broken wings of sun chime in
but icy clouds whisper their sin
and they all start to burst
and flowers quench their thrist
Trapped in the fog and reaching for emeralds
the king lost his crown
Finding a place to sleep in the storm
And seeking a door with mortal form
And the sun spills of space flood down
billions of people clutch the ground
and they all just live on
and songbirds see the dawn
and starlight turns to stone
and seasons find their home
