Well I wanted cornbread
And black eyed peas
Baby started cooking
And scratching at fleas
Caught me off guard
But I started getting wise
When baby started cussing
And swatting at flies
Well her grease got hot
But something smelled wrong
I looked up in the cupboard
And the Alpo was gone
I sat at the table
With Rover underneath
Wagging his tail
And gnashing his teeth
She's mad now
At something I've done
She dont like drinking
Or care for fun
Its a sorry situation
Grown men dont cry
She's forking up a plate
Of dog food pie
