Far Away Place - Guitars101

I wrote this after watching the Notebook. My new favorite movie of the year. lol. If you seen the movie you'll understand. If you didn't, maybe you can identify with it anyway.

lol. More of a poem than lyrics, but i am sure I'll add to it. I just wanted to see what you all thought so far....

Far Away Place

I thought I'd be your one and only
You walked away, I was left lonely

I was doing fine, I thought I was alright
Until you stepped back into my life tonight

He's standing there, but I see your face
My memories take me to a far away place

Where your by my side, holding me tight
there's no worries, no reason to fight

Take away my fears
Wipe away my tears

Hold me tight, just don't let me go
Feeling is right, we must let it show

Bob, thank you for your kind remarks. I appreciate that you are keeping a copy. I always hoped someone would like my writing enough to want a copy. Miss Vixon and My Hubby,

I am so glad you both had the chance to read this. Mandy,if you haven't already, see the Notebook, my dear. I identified with that movie in so many ways. Helped me write a few poems. Anyway, thank you and I hope to keep posting.
