Lyric Battles?

Would anyone be interested in starting a Lyric battle? Much like Guitar battle only with words. The Rappers do it all the time. So why can't the rockers do it? So this is how'd it'd go down...

One person posts about 5 lines of lyrics
and than the other persons another 5 lines of lyrics.
so yeah would anyone be interested? I'm bored thats why I'm posting this.

I think you would need more than five line to convey the theme of the song in which you are trying to express in the lyrics. I do like the idea of the battle of lyrics though...sounds interesting

10-35 lines.. I think or about 3 or paragraphs.. Kind of a collab vs lyrics. Seriously, if anyone is interested.. I'll put one up :-) I love writing and I bet we got alot of other good lyric writers...

jot a few lines down.

in the softness of the candlelight
I watch you as you sleep
every moment is forever cherished
each memory I will forever keep

I feel the softness of your skin
as the light caresses the night
I can’t believe that your mine
as I look on this heavenly sight

and in the silence of the night
a soft smile is on your face
any doubts I ever had about love
all vanish with out a trace
