nuno80sfunkrock is on a distinguished road

October

I'm going for one of those songs that makes girls cry, that does that heart break thing you know? And i dont think i got it. Any tips are welcome.

This is a story of a boy
This is a story of a girl
This is a story of her
Leaving him October third
October fourth he stayed out late
Tryin' to drink her off his mind
Early October 5th he was
Drunk and he was driving
She was still on his mind
Even after all those rounds
He almost saw the stop sign
Too bad almost doesn't count

The red lights flashed behind him
And he pulled over to the side
He couldn't hide his breath
No matter what he tried
He used his one phone call
To call her from jail
But it did no good
She wouldn't pay his bail

October 7th he was so drunk
He thought he was a singer
He put that bottle to his head
And he pulled the trigger
October his family took him to the tree
Where he used to lay and watch the sky
They put him in the ground beneath it
And sang him his last lullabye.

October 8th she decided she
Wanted to come back home
But it was too late
She spent her life alone
