Just a song idea that never really got finished. It sounds ok but the joke of pinching the "Same as it ever Was" phrase out of Once in a Lifetime (Talking Heads) is a bit redundant and poorly implemented. The 8 vocal harmonies on the choruses are cool though and sound a little bit like a stone roses outtake.
Whilst this is hardly a rap - it is spoken word and a bit of stream of consciousness. It does dovetail quite nicely and I really like the way the "
Big city deals made over meals, to the clatter of plates and ching of tills" bounces along - the meter is a bit reminiscent of Becks "Where its at" which pleases me
