Stolen Grounds
Here is one for the Native Indians...and it might just make ya think...
this will be it for a while I dont want to flood the lyrics section.....
Stolen Grounds
As the rain begins to fall
Like tears from the sky
It is a timeless sadness
As our forefathers did cry
As you hear the rustling
From the winds of change
Hoping that it will one day heal
All of the past’s timeless pain
Maybe that today’s tomorrows
Will right all of the past wrongs
As we educate the children of the future
In the words of a poem or a song
They were always rich
Only to use what they need
Just a home , family, togetherness
And to provide from the back of a steed
Living life to the fullest
Enjoying the simplest of all things
To see all the colors of the Autumn
And to see everything grow in the spring
To fully enjoy the wonders of nature
And only to see all of the beauty
And to fully understand the values of love
As they commit to each other fully
So if you think life is hard
And when it starts to get you down
Just close your eyes and remember
You're standing on the Indians stolen ground
