Worst Enemy
Well it's always the same story... Either you've got the tune and no words... Or, you've got the words and no tune. I've tried to rock something to these (which I think is where it's suited) and I've gone soft and chill. Still no luck, so figured I'd share the words. Any thoughts, ideas, are appreciated and always well received. This is sort of a "what you say" and "what you do" are a contradiction type ramble, or "it's alright when I say it, but it isn't for anyone else".
Worst Enemy
I’m the answer to my own questions…
A delayed response or quick retort
Some spastic reaction
I could be the solver of my problems…
The wise advice, ear lending friend
Some lovely solution
I’m waiting… I’m chasing… Jumping with this angst
I’m…………. My…………. Worst enemy…
I’m my biggest fan I’m biased…
A cheerleader, A promoter
Some written opinion
I’ll bash me first without forgiveness
The pessimist view, the kill joy, me
Some self heckler
I’m waiting… I’m chasing… Jumping with this angst
I’m…………. My…………. Worst enemy…
Danger to myself
Saver of my stuff
Slave to the rough
Oh my mental health
Scratch myself
Dwell on stuff
Worked enough
Slipping mental health
I’m waiting… I’m chasing… Jumping with this angst
I’m…………. My…………. Worst enemy…
I’m the answer to my own questions…
I could be the solver of my problems …
I’m my biggest fan I’m biased…
I’ll bash me first without forgiveness
A delayed response or quick retort
The wise advice, ear lending friend
A cheerleader, A promoter
The pessimist view, the kill joy, me

intrigueing...
It is the truth. I will be my worst critic and am never satisfied. Others have to create a simple exit for me to let it pass by. Later, I usually like it. Hits home. Good one

Impressive! I like the pivot points and the content. I believe you should record it.

Thanks Goport, I appreciate you taking the time to read them. I'm still stumped on the music. There are partial melody lines for bits and pieces that I hear although they've changed so many times. I had to step away from it to re-group. If you have any suggestions for the music, your thoughts are always valued. Thanks again for taking a look.

Thanks for checking this out roguitar. I really appreciate it. Funny things is that I can hear a melody line for what I would consider the verse... another for the chorus, and one for the bridge. I just can't figure out how to put the 3 together into one piece of music. LOL. I've got 3 different tune ideas going on in my head. If you've got an idea for music, by all means take a stab at it. Thanks again...

Well...
Maybe this is out of line on my behalf or maybe it`s just stupid... what I wanted to say...I hope you don`t mind...is that you could do like a song with 3 tempos...with fast changes...something like that....like put two verses toghether to make the verse part longer and then when the bridge comes in you can do like a crash...everything (guitar, drums and bass) do a something like crashing...as much noise as they can...and then the bridge starts...and after that there`s a another "crash" and the chorus starts.
I dunno...it`s just an ideea...or maybe it can be once, before the bridge an upgoing sound...as high as our ears accept and once it can be the crash.
I hope what I said makes sense...s*it, I can`t make out much of it now if I read it...

All good thoughts, and not out of line at all. My biggest problem right now is I jammed my fingers the other day, and I can't play right now. I started a band about 2 months ago, and we have about 5 or 6 tunes waiting in the wings. We can't seem to keep up with the music ideas coming through right now. I'm hoping one of the music ideas will fit these words, but there's no guarantee's. I was thinking the same thing... 1/2 time, single time and double time sort of thing (not necessarily in that order). Are you new to this site? Or recently new? Any chance you play bass? I started a jam a few weeks ago here on the site, and was slotted with a bass part. I'm going to be out of commission for a while, looking for a replacement? (asking anybody who will listen, LOL)
