In summer of 1986 Gary Moore played some outdoor concerts, sharing the bill with Marillion & Queen. This boot contains the FM recording from one of these gigs with the addition of 2 bonus tracks hardly ever played by Gary, and also a rare collaboration with Frankie Goes To Hollywood...
Here,s a cracking tape of Gary Moore in 86, great sound but maybe a little short as I think Murder in the skies is missing!

Here you have a great one from Gary. It’s an amazing double CD recorded at the Festival Hall, Osaka, Japan on July 16th 1987. The sound quality is awesome, even for an audience recording (I’d rate it about 9.5/10), and the set-list is absolutely killer! :irock:

Found a load of tracks (looking thru the hard drive on the pc in the studio) that I posted a long time ago when I first got my POD. So as there are now 16 million more members...I'm pimpin' em again!!!
So this is PIMP NO.1 "Empty Rooms". I didn't have a mic at the time so I did a sorta all...
I have made a backtrack of the bridge section thru to the end of Gary Moore`s Still Got the Blues , one of the best songs ever written from a sublime guitarist. who wants to have a go at in a battle challenge ?
say so here and ill post the necessary backing in this forum.
I just picked up CD of Empty Rooms" (John Mayall, 1969) and have been completely blown away by this track, and have trying to work it out. I'm an average guitarist struggling to get better, and I'm not having much luck.
Does anyone know anything about how the guitar track was played?
WAH-WAH SINGS \"Crowded House\"(against his better judgement) NO GUITAR!
..ahem...not sure about this but what the hell! Give me a guitar and I'll HAPPILY do 15 hours trying to get it perfect...with vocals I haven't got that luxury! That is because:
1. My voice won't improve as we go along...
i'm not real familiar with most gary moore's stuff , but I had the backing for this one and I think I got close with the main riff....I know my playing dosent even come close to some of the others I've listened to on this site, but what I'm currious about is opinions on the sound quality of the...
