Hi guys, here is the BT for Steve Vai's Bangkok.
It also includes the first part of Fire Garden, as per Vai's live version of of Bangkok (and the original leads straight into it anyway).
The BT is made from a midi file, but a good bit of reworking has gone into it, to try and get the best sound...
Verga asked me to do a collab with him on Vai's Firegarden Suite. We hadn't really worked together before and I know he is a perfectionist like me, so I was really looking forward to it!
Sadge came on-board to...
Yep 2 monthly competitions this month!! The theme of this competition is Solos (the other competition can be found here ). Great entries again and some new entrants as well as the usual suspects, whom I truly appreciate your continued support for the comp :tu:. And speaking of support can I urge...
Hi Guys, Well on my last cover I posted I said I'll hang up my cover boots but whilst listening to some of my Vai collection over this easter break I was reminded of this song and how great it is and thought maybe its within my ability to do it (without messing it up too much), so I managed to...
So the 90's are known as the decade that killed shred. Grunge took over , blah blah blah.
But some gems still surfaced. Who was your favorite and or most inflential guitarist to come out in the 90's. Mine is John Petrucci.
I saw "little Stevie Vai" in Birmingham,AL when he was on his R.I. tour. I was blown away. I always wanted a bootleg of any show from this tour. I have the Holland one but it's not the whole concert. I want a bootleg of the WHOLE show. the 9-30-05 gig u can't download. Can someone please help me...
I'm looking around for a little while and couldn't find the BT for "Dyin' Day" (Steve Vai's Fire Garden Album). Does someone have this or feel "temptated" (hehe) about doing one?! =)
Well, ANY help would be very appreciated. Even a MIDI file and I make the BT myself and share...
Has anyone heard the progressive band Stride(with Joel Gregoire on guitar). They are from houston and are one of the best bands in houston and texas. They will play the mainstage at progfest this year and just got signed. I take lessons from Joel who also teaches at the national guitar workshop...
It is my pleasure to bring to everyone my interview with Danny Danzi. You want to talk about a guy that gets it? A guy that understands and realizes how important his music is to his fans, and a guy that puts so much hard work into every note that leaves his voice and fingers. That gentleman is...
Steve Vai is a great technical guitarist, thats true, ill give him that much. But Steve does not have any musical feel. He knows how to play guitar but he doesn't know how to play music. He's fun to watch for 2 minutes, then he gets boring cause its the same thing all over again, speed, speed...
I'd really like this backing and will be forever thankful if someone can get a hold of it
By the way, I think there is an official BT of this released by Hal Leonard on the Fire Garden songbook.
