I use to have a ADA MP1 years ago and I ran that through a carvin stereo power amp in two 4x12 cabs along with an Alesis effects processor.
I liked the flexability of that set up and running in actual stereo was awesome...

A real tube pre pedal is a pedal that has tubes obviously but also has a transformer that is putting out like 300 volts to supply the tubes. I have tried one recently because I am going to be playing for an amp companies site in order to demo there amps and pedals. The tube pedals I have tried...
How does one get started with rack gear?
There's a (2nd hand) Marshall JMP-1 and TC G-major at the local store that I've got my eye on, but I'm wondering if I'd be able to control them both with a single footcontroller (like a Behringer 1010, someone recommended for the Gmajor at least)? I'm...

Just joined a band, 1st gig on Friday 06 May!!
1st rehearsal with the band was on Tuesday last and my Vamp amplified through a 100W main + 100W monitor solid state mixer/PA amp into a Behringer stereo 4x12 was either muffled as hell, or harsh as f$$k, slicing ears off before I could be heard...
Well my tone just doesn't seem to have enough power behind it and is sounding a bit weak!
But I have no experience in power amplifiers and dont know just what they exactly do (I think they do what I think they do which is above). I was looking at the randall one in the MTS series seeing my amp...

Hi, I currently am just recording my guitar through a crappy mic on my comp. I was wondering what would be the best amp modeler like a Pod or V-Amp I could get that's within a price range of 100-200 dollars.
Just a jam I recorded a few weeks ago. Sort of worked up some drum and bass grooves first and then took it from there. Used a Kramer Pacer into a Marshall JMP-1. Thanks for listening!
