I am going to try to share every Who show that I have collected over the last 5 years from various forums, blogs and private hubs. I want to thank everyone who taped, shared, uploaded and everyone else I might have missed .
I am a lover of music with no talents to share other then to share what others who painstaketly shared before me. If any thing I have shared that you discovered to be officially released please inform Edge of guitars 101 or leave a comment to such or pm me and I will remove the thread. Thank you for allowing me the forum Edge to share with others what I have. God bless and enjoy the music. Dale aka dalmar6677

THE WHO

"No Fiddlesticks" (Shout To The Top STTP 193/194)

Venue: Champs Elysees Theater, Paris, France, January 16, 1970
Recording: Soundboard + Audience(?), AM Broadcast maybe(?)
Sound Quality: Very Good/Very Good-
Comments: Great show from the European opera house Tommy tour.
Nice artwork (included, 300dpi) with great photos contained on the inside covers.

Lineage: Silver > EAC > WAV > FLAC (via dBpower AMP, low compression)
-------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the first show of the three playing in Paris in 1970.The sound is very good for an AM frequency.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
This is quite possibly a mixture of two AM Radio recordings . It has the same quality and feel as many other 60's AM
radio shows. The recording is mono. It was the first of many early 1970's Opera House concerts showcasing Tommy.

No amendments were made to the audio files after the rip. Some tape anomalies and cuts are present.

Tattoo contains a tape anomaly at 1m 12s. Young Man Blues contains a dropout at 7m 04s during Pete's banter about
A Quick One and again at 8m 32s. The dropouts are for milliseconds. There is a noticable dip in sound quality during
Overture at 55s - this is where the second tape source possibly starts. Go To The Mirror has a slight cut at the end (no music is lost, just
crowd noise). The first few seconds of My Generation suffers from tape flutter.

According to Anyway Anyhow Anywhere, the show from the 17th was broadcast on Europa 1. The actual date of this
particular boot may well be from the 17th, however, the Concert File book lists Pete's stage banter as being from the 16th.
