I just purchased a 5150 combo, and I was wondering if anybody has some good "brown sound" settings? Thanks very much :icon_thum

Heres what I have mine set for.

High gain input, lead channel, Lead pre 3, Low 8, Mid 4, High 4, Reverb 6, Lead post above 4, Resonance 8, Presence 8.

I also removed the rear panel making it an open back. It kills some of the low's making the amp more open sounding. Otherwise it has a very modern sound.

Hey thanks a lot! I'll try those settings out. I might try taking the back off too, that's a good idea :jam:

Yea, just watch that lead post above 4 though. That's loud enough to melt paint! LOL I actually miss my combo because of the reverb on there. My 5150 II doesn't have it and it pisses me off, but I'll eventually get a stompbox.
