Hey guys, new to the forums. I recently stripped and customized an old 82-84 Kramer Focus flying V. It was a cheaply made guitar with a horrible paint job so I figured why not go wild. The problem I'm having is with the tremolo, more specifically, the string height. It had an original German made Floyd Rose tremolo without the locking tuners which I thought was decent enough to keep. I can't seem to be able to adjust the tremolo enough to eliminate string buzzing without it being WAY up off the body of the guitar. This isn't how it's supposed to look, is it? The guitar never had a tremolo cavity cut out in the body and I'm pretty sure it was originally flush against the body of the guitar. I've attached a photo of what it currently looks like. Any help is greatly appreciated!!
