Hey everyone ,

I saw some ideas being thrown around for this months contest which was really great ! , but i've decided this month the Theme will be :

FUNK !

So get funky and post up your best original funk composition ! (yes you can add ass pounding bass :woot: )

The usual guidelines apply :

* Original Compositions Only

* Only 2 people per Colab

* Both Members of the colab must be members of the site

Good luck Everyone , and i'll tally up the entries and vote from the 22nd of april :thumb:

Just another thing i thought i'd add , from the last few days thinking about backing tracks , you can use a premade backing track from this site if you so choose ,

however if 2 people use the same track the one that submitted their work first will get to keep it the other person will not be accepted ..

i just think this makes it fair as alot of backings once out in public get used by practically everyone ! :lol:

I'm not really a funk guitar player. Not one of my strong points. Although I did play a song with the Jazz Band back in high school called "LaGrand Funk". But mostly all I did during the song was mute picking on the wha wha pedal.
