It was a big surprise to find out that this version (Eddie7679's unknown gen tape, transferred by Smores, 74:15 min) is from a completely different source than the circulating versions I am aware of (Luciferburns' 4th gen tape, 90:17 min, Voitto's combined version, 77:02 min, and the 'Ozzy Please Don't Go' CDR bootleg, 69:53 min). With 'source' I do really mean that this show has obviously been taped by (at least) 2 different people: while the audience noises on 'Ozzy Please Don't Go', Voitto's combined version and Luciferburns' tape are all identical to each other, they differ throughout between those 3 versions on the one hand, and Eddie7679's tape on the other hand. (Ozzy's talk, however, is identical in ALL versions, indicating that they are all indeed from the same show.)

I will call the original source of Luciferburns's tape, 'Ozzy Please Don't Go' and Voitto's combined version 'Source 1' and the source of Eddie7679's tape 'Source 2'. The difference between both sources is quite obvious when you closely listen to what happens during the break between Snowblind and War Pigs. For example, although the sound quality of Eddie7679's tape is significantly better, the following distinct audience noises can only be heard on our 3 versions of Source 1:
- About 3 sec after the end of Snowblind, somebody can be heard shouting 'Hey! - Whoo!' quite close to the recording microphone.
- 30 sec later, Ozzy makes 4 high-pitched 'Whoooo!' shouts; just before, and while he start doing this, people can be heard talking very close to the microphone.
- After his 4 'Whoooo!' shouts, Ozzy says: 'Fucking beautiful'; at the same time, somebody says 'Whoo!' quite close to the microphone, and 'Yeah!' just 1 sec later.
- Another 5 sec later, people start to clap rhythmically; while this clapping can be heard in Source 2 as well, the 'Daddl-da-dum' singsong, sung by somebody close to the mic, is well audible in Source 1, but absent from Source 2.
- When the intro of War Pigs finishes and Bill starts to play the hi-hat rhythm that leads into the verse, Ozzy shouts 'Everybody clap your hands!', and just 1 sec later, somebody from the audience shouts 'Hey!'
All these noises (except, of course, those from Ozzy) are completely absent from Source 2; there, instead, we hear something else we cannot hear in Source 1:
- About 6 sec after the end of Snowblind, a guy can be heard shouting 'whoooo!' (well audible, but not very close to the recoding mic).

Soundwise, Eddie7679's tape is clearly the best of all these versions, followed by Voitto's combined version and 'Ozzy Please Don't Go'; Luciferburns's tape sounds worst, but is the only complete version of this show available so far. (Eddie7679's tape has the beginning complete, but cuts out during Iron Man, and Children Of The Grave and Paranoid are missing; 'Ozzy Please Don't Go' does include Children Of The Grave, but lacks the intro tape, Symptom of the Universe , Iron Man and Paranoid; and Voitto's combined version has the same tracklist as 'Ozzy Please Don't Go', except that Voitto's combined version also includes Paranoid.)

ANY UPGRADES (E.G. ANY COMPLETE VERSION OF SOURCE 2 OR BETTER-SOUNDING VERSION OF SOURCE 1) WOULD BE MOST WELCOME! PLEASE UPLOAD OR PM TO THE UPLOADER!

This show is from the collection of Eddie7679 who was active taping and collecting 1984-1989. He was gracious enough to lend his collection to Smores who is working to get many of the old shows transferred and uploaded for others to enjoy. Some of these shows are completely uncirculated while some of the circulated ones are getting a fresh transfer from the master tapes.
PLEASE contact Smores on DIME if you have any SAXON, ROSE TATTOO, WILDHEARTS OR NINE INCH NAILS. Thanks.
