It's a swedish blues player called Matti Norlin. He plays delta slide style (mostly) and is awesome. I've seen him live 4 or 5 times at blues festivals here in sweden.

Especially check out the mp3s from his band Badge. It's acoustic slide guitar, acoustic bass and drums. Delta blues style but with an enormous intensity and energy. It kicks ass, simply put.

Yeah I downloaded "Bobby" - it jams and I like it a lot. Love the slide breaks he does - very creative indeed.

Except I would say this is in the "spirit" of Delta Slide - since I've never heard Double Bass Drum on any Delta Slide Guitar songs before. (Talkin the classic's here)

The guitar player is playing Delta Slide, but the drums and bass are total progressive - which actually works here I think. Even though it's double bass drums and such, it wails.

I had to download the song "Low Down" and hear that, it's almost done. .

Wow - total double bass again. Pretty fast tune - can I be in his band? :rock:
That would be fun to solo over. .

That's true... "In the spirit of" would be a better choice of words, and kinda what I meant to say. Some people actually called what they play "punk blues", just because it's so fast and intense
