Had a blast doing it...as well as the others. It was a great way to clean the pipes a bit after carrying around a horrible cold for 3+ weeks. As I told Slob, I wish I had more time to do this kind of thing. Scot and I are working on Johnny Lokke cd #5, so I'm trying to work these in as I get a break here and there.

And to Linda and WahWah...I have not forgotten you guys either and will be squeezing in your tracks shortly! You guys all rock here at G101, and I'm glad to be a small part of it!

Peace,
Johnny

anyone ever watch South Park? I think Eric Cartman sums up my feelings for this song by these words, "I hate you guys!" ha ha ha ha

I would say that this is one of the best covers of maiden I have heard. guitars seem a tad high level but other than that.....everything wsa right on....and vocals were killer too.

GREAT JOB

Im headbanging !!!!! Killer cover!!!! The guitar parts are great! But i have to say i really dislike the sound of the guitars because of that fucking reverb (i think is the mix...). For the guy singing..... THAT WAS THE BEST FUCKING VOCALS I EVER HEARD FOR A MAIDEN SONG!!!!! Better than Bruce for sure, i fucking swear it!!! would you mind in collaborate with me in some songs? can you tell me what bands are your favs to sing or style? im wow-ed!!!

Thanks Verga.

I wish that was true, but I thank you for the kind words anyway! It was really SLoB and Tony that did all the hard work, I just came in last minute and shouted a bit. Great fun tho, as it is working with everyone here. I have a lot of songs I've promised to do for several folks and am working on my new cd, as well as doing vocals on a contract for a solo artist, but as I get time I love to do stuff like this. Since I spend most of my time working on my own material it's fun to knock off a cover tune now and again. It's mostly just a matter of finding an hour here and there to do it.

I'm not sure what my style is considered, but I grew up in cover bands doing Maiden, Priest, Thin Lizzy, Scorpions, Saxon, Ozzy and Sabbath, Queensryche, etc...just your basic old-school headbanging stuff. Let me know where to pick up your tunes and if I think I can bring something to it I'll work it in.

Regards,
Johnny
