I have a charvel model 1
I was wondering if i should do this to it and can't decide so if you fancy making my mind up for me i would be grateful.

I'd buy that charvel...the white one, or at least the neck, if you wanted to sell of course.

well i didn't really want to get it in the first place, but when i did it turned out to be an excellent guitar.
So it has to stay im afraid!!!

depends on how big a EVH fan you are and if you've already got one

personally i would because that guitar looks a bit dull

I think it would be blasphemous to wreck such a quality guitar with that EVH muck (expect a backlash from VH fans)

Personally I wouldn't stripe it or at least not like a 5150. I think to do a 5150, the body has got to be an exact copy and I notice that the floyd is routed. However, check out Axeshredders self built guitars to see what a twist on the stripes theme can do to brighten up a guitar like the Model 1. :icon_thum

Go for it, it will be fun but, try some abstract non-linear patterns. Why the straight lines all the time? It's all about making it a very unique and personal guitar.

now thats the ticket. The Kamikaze would be really cool with a pick guard! It's a guaranteed Ed copy with out the pick guard no matter how you paint it.

Valid point dude, except ed stripes everything, guitars, Walls, the 5150 was just there as an example he has around 100 stripey axes, kramers, charvels, peavey's the list goes on.

Guess i'll just have to see what happens with the poll.

stripes, stripes, stripes! You've got the right colour to do it with as well. I bought a white Kramer and did it meself. It was not bad and sold on eBay very easy.:drunk:

I'd do it, but then I'd always wanted one and I loved the look of the guitar. When I finally got around to getting one, I was very happy with it and still love it. I do agree about the guitar being an exact before you start. But if you aren't picky, then who cares ?
