This should be easy right? - Set an audio track to record, Set the Soundblaster to "What U Hear" and that should do it.

It doesn't!!


Any ideas?

Thank you Stingx. Incidentally it does work with sonar 3 but I don't much like the midi editing on that prog.

Ok, make sure you enable all midi ports and check everything in device setup under Devices in main menu:



If it says no just click it and it will turn to yes.

Then make sure your input and output is defined. I don;t use the midi on my firewire 410, so I select the sound blaster:

Yeah, it's your birthday...you should be doing more entertaining stuff than fretting over midi problems in cubase

heheh - Man I have a hangover today. Just glad I have a days leave from work


Right I have done as you suggested but I am still not able to record. My default midi port page is set up as yours and the all midi input only shows the SB Audigy MIDI IO (D000) (emulated). This is set to active.

I guess I am stuck
