Could someone tell me where would be the best place to order a custom neck from? I know of Warmoth but I'm not sure how well they are and I'm figuring there are other places that offer the same kind of work too. So any help would greatly be appreciated.

Exactly what do you mean by custom? You want a paddle headstock so you can cut your own design? You want a custom contour?:scratch:

Sorry I wasn't more specific. I was looking on the warmoth site and at the moment I'm thinking of going with a CBS Warmoth "Pro" 25.5 scale birdseye maple neck and fretboard. Compound radius, lsr roller nut, satin finish, half scallop from the 12th through 22nd fret, unless I change my mind and go with the whole neck. Locking tuners and maybe even stainless steel frets. Not sure about the neck shape. I might go with the Wolfgang contour.

I'm just wondering if there are other places online where I can order a neck like this besides Warmoth.

Wow....that's the exact neck I would want!

There are other places, but not many that do the Wolfgang contour...which you will love. There's mightymite, stewmac, and a ton of others that sell relpacement necks.

Yeah I have a Wolfgang so I already know how much I would love that part of the neck. Thanks for the sites you listed! I'll be sure to check them out.:thumb:

If you want to know anything about warmoth necks ask MattM he just put one on his Ibanez, well his Ibanez body I should say since that's the only thing on it that's "Ibanez". Anyhow he got the Explorer neck and it looks sweet especially w/ his chrome schaller locking tuners. :woot:
