hi there....this is my third or hundreth attempt to upload a demo tune...i've lost count...if i succeed i'd welcome any comments or tips...i'm using a digitech gnx3 through magix music studio 7...the drums are from the gnx3's internal drum machine...but i'd like to learn how to use loops and fills to add more "realism" to my projects...thanks - paul

You've got the basis for a good song. The recording sounds a touch hot, so you might want to bring down your master levels on the next track you do. Otherwise this was a good sampling of your talents and you've got a lot going for you. Part of the home recording process is through lots of experimentation and over time you'll be able to add more complexity to your recordings. Good luck and keep posting your tunes here!

hi there...thanks for the feedback...i appreciate it...i hope these two demos are not as "hot"...i don't have any monitors...or even computer speakers...i'm using a little marshall mg10cd guitar amp hooked up to my sound card to get sound out of my pc...
does anyone know of a good website(s) that i can learn how to work drum loops and/or fills into my tunes?...i'm kinda shy about my singing abilities...and find writing lyrics to be the most difficult part of writing songs...but i hope to upload a couple of tunes with vocals in the near future...thanks - paul
