He's probably getting some noise in the line while downloading, leading to some corruption in the downloaded files. I had this problem a while back myself and downloaded some 3 times and all had errors in them (but no problems with uploaded files). I notice the worst problems when using RapidGator myself. Best luck with FreakShare for me for file integrity or the new Mega, to be followed by Bitshare, FileFactory, and TurboBit for integrity. Mega is the fastest for me, followed by FreakShare, then the rest. FileFactory is the second slowest for me, with RapidGator the slowest of all. Your mileage may vary. - PaulTrader

yeah! Mega.co.nz is now the best way to share the file without any corruption. I've downloaded DV.DB.EC.GH.1969-12-12.Cope.by.TUBE.z03 again by using Bitshare, FileFactory, TurboBit and FreakShare, still got the same problem. Maybe I gave to wait until some other members can re-upload with another host or I have to download this file again. By the way, thank you for sharing these incredible stuffs :icon_peac

Not sure of your internet connection, but I use cable. I found a ground noise problem due to a poor ground wire connection from the cable input to the house and the main copper ground post outside the house, where the main electric comes in. I improved those connections and my speeds all got better. Cable has to be grounded properly. But even after that, maybe 5% of the time, I can get a bad download and have to do it again later on. Some of this IS related to the file locker service you are downloading from. Some are better than others. The new mega is definitely pretty awesome for speed and reliability. - PaulTrader

This by the way is a beauty of torrent files over direct downloads. With torrents, even with a noisy line, you can be assured of 100% successful downloads, since each and every bit of the data is verified with the checksum file that goes with every torrent. But frankly there is a much better selection of excellent files to download here from our many generous uploaders than any torrent site I know of. - PaulTrader
