Thanx for this rare gem.
I've dl all 6 Deposite files.I got Part 1 and 6 as Zip files and the others show as "z02,z03,z04,z05".
I can't open them with either WinZip nor WinRar.
Any clue what to do???:sssh:

 

simply install the latest vesion of winzip, open only the zip files (ignore z01, z02 etc...), select the content and extract somewhere. That's all. Let me know in case of problems.

 

Great! Only live footage I've seen of their glory days is from the Freebird film.

i was able to track this down a couple of years ago. it's a very nice recording despite the timecounter and watermark. that's no biggie. it's a rockin' show.
i was lucky enough to have been able to this show. it our last family vacation in Ocean Grove, just a stroll on the boardwalk going north to Asbury Park. a buddy and i were able score tickets. they were like 7 bucks. it was the second time i saw them in the summer of 1977. the first was me and 110,000 other fans at JFK Stadium in Philadelphia. we had tickets to see the again in October at the Spectrum in Philly. but the plane crash happened and it was over. what a bummer.
i spotted myself in the crowd towards the end. i'm the skinny geeky one in a freebird moment doing the double fist pump. they were so great live.
i'll try and grab a screen shot and post it here. thanks for the upload. who knows, this may be better than the two other versions i've come across. the second one was a supposed remaster, but i think they just spliced a couple of tunes from the winterland show in 1975. the Winterland show was not nearly as smoky as the Convention Hall. that is smoke not fog at the Convention Hall. it was thick, it was a Skynyrd show in the '70's.
