NEW YORK/NASHVILLE (Billboard) - The Eagles will on June 7 release a double-disc DVD chronicling a November 2004 run of shows in Melbourne.

Farewell 1 Tour -- Live From Melbourne" will be released by the band's own Eagles Recording Co. imprint via Warner Strategic Marketing. Highlights from the project will be broadcast as part of a two-hour primetime special June 1 on NBC.

Stops include August dates in Angels Camp at the Calaveras County Fairgrounds, Rohnert Park at Sonoma State University, the Salinas Sports Complex, the Santa Barbara Bowl and Coors Amphitheater in Chula Vista. There are also two dates at Harvey's Outdoor Stage in Lake Tahoe, Nev., "two blocks from the California state line," according to Azoff.

The Eagles will wrap the tour in the fall with eight Los Angeles-area shows, including four at the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim and at least three at the Staples Center, with a final show still to be determined. The band is also considering a benefit show at the Santa Monica Civic Center, "where it all kind of started for the Eagles."

"We just did Southeast Asia, Japan, Australia and the East Coast of the U.S. My guys are tired," Azoff said. "And this California tour is looking like it could be as many as 30 shows." I tell ya man, I saw these guys in concert late last year and it was easily the best show I've ever seen. Like you said, every song is one you've heard. I'll admit, I WASN'T a big Eagles fan, but they put on one hell of a show. Awesome lights, sound, and songs! Can't say enough about it, this is one I'm definately gonna pick up. Thanks for postng!

Everytime I used to go to Costco, they would have the Hell Freezed Over DVD playing on their plasma tv's. I was always impressed on how great they sounded and how great the songs were.
