Faton Bloom is the reunion of Francois 'Faton' Cahen (ex Magma / Zao) and Didier 'Bloom' Malherbe (ex Gong).
This recording is from an early concert in 1984, with the first incarnation of the band featuring the wonderful drummer Pierre Moerlen (ex Gong). This was long before the recording of their sole album in 1986.

This is an unmissable archive of a much underrated band from the Gong/Magma family, with a lot of unreleased pieces.

It has been cleaned and remastered. Sound is very good, I would rate it 7/10.

In the memory of Faton Cahen and Pierre Moerlen (RIP)

WOW Thank you so much for this rare archive.
Anything with the great Pierre Moerlen is welcome.

I realize how great this band was live. IMO this is better than the only studio album they recorded some 2 or 3 years later.

The sound is great too.
Not forgetting the excellent artwork.
