I'm gonna try to ressurrect the old forgotten 80's metal band idea from a few months ago for any old metalheads like myself.

This week's band: ARMORED SAINT

I couldn't agree more...I've recently began digging up old stuff to listen to again and its great to hear some of those old bands of the past that never had a chance to make it really big.:icon_peac

Haven't heard of them? Were they on a major label?

They were with Island Records for there good album "Metal of Honor" You should find a copy someday I think you would like it.

I wouldn't say metal but a very good hard rockin band. "Say what you will" and "Easy Livin" are 2 of my favorite songs.:thumb:

heh ..3 of the 5 bands mentioned in this thread are some of my all time favs ..I wore out a few Saint's casettes back in the day..I just saw Last Train Home video off of Symbol Of Salvation album on Metal Mania the other day. Leatherwolf does a kick ass rendition of Bad Moon Rising off one of their earlier releases. Never got too into Fastway, but always thought it was cool they did the soundtrack for Trick Or Treat movie ..remember that one? ..hehe

There's a band named JAG WIRE from the 80's. They had a great guitarist.
