To my knowledge, no one has created a thread containing the 4 concerts that Sinatra performed at the Docklands Arena in London in 1990. I know the concerts from July 7th & July 8th have been floating around but recently I acquired the July 4th and July 6th concerts from a fellow in Europe who was at these concerts and taped them.

So, for your listening pleasure, I present all 4 concerts from Sinatra's July tour at the Docklands Arena in London in 1990. I have listened and compared the concerts, and besides being good quality, they are all indeed different and the sets match those posted here:

THANKS! Good sounding arena tapes. HOWEVER, I am perplexed about the 7/4 performance. Even though the songs are way out of order once downloaded, the set list does not match up to what you have listed here. (I take it is from "The Main Event" site?) Can anyone with knowledge of the performance present the correct set list in order for the 7/4 concert?

I don't know what you mean by"way out of order". All of the tracks are numbered from 1-18 in the correct order. Unfortunately, I did post the wrong track order for July 4th but Baseball777 has posted the correct set list.

I had to rename each track as the number on it did not match the song it was attached to. I can't recall specifics now but for example Track 12 which should actually be "Summer WInd" (let's say) actually is "Mack the Knife" which is 8th on the list. (Not an actual comparsion).

I was able to restring together the performance in order only after I properly previewed and identified each track and named it. I found the Charlotte concert to be the same way.

Perhaps it is just me or the system I use but I just wanted to make you aware of that. Thansk for the posts. They sound very good for arenas.

And I believe you can throw the monologue (which is a seperate track) right after "For Once in MY Life". At least the sound seems to match up that way.

I see what has happened now. With this particular concert (July 4, 1990), and others I received from a European trader, they were ripped from audio cassette. When they are ripped to my PC they are ripped as two files (side 1 and 2ide 2). I then cut them into their individual tracks with Spin It Again. Each side had its own folder so Side 1 was 12 tracks and Side 2 was 6 tracks. I then put them all in one folder and renamed the files separately Tracks 1-18 to make one folder with all 18 tracks.

If you look at the title of the Tracks they will say Track (1), Track (2) etc. If you are using Windows and you look at the Track number however, you will see there are two sets of tracks 1-6 and then single tracks of 7-12 ( hope this makes sense). So if you are organizing them by track # they will be all mixed up and you'll get something like, 1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,7,8,9,10.11,12 and of course listening to them that way will be out of sequence. If you organize them by file name and listen or burn them by file name then everything will be in the right order.

I don't know of a better way other than labeling them part 1 and part 2 and uploading them as two separate files. Any suggestions?:banghead:

July 8th doesn't match up song-wise. "Soliloquy" is not on the set list fro that show. Any ideas anyone??????
I checked on this and I think the 4th and 8th concerts that I uploaded are the same (that means they are both from the 4th). The tracks are cut differently so that's what fooled me when I first listened to them.

The 4th and 6th came from a collector who taped them himself but the 7th and 8th came from someone else. I'll go back to my source for the 4th and 6th and see if he has an 8th. Thanks for the catch on that.

I had to go back to my source in Europe who had his tape from the concert. I had checked with some other traders but their 8th was actually the 4th. I guess that had been circulating that way for a while.

It's good sound for an audience tape although there's a noticeable click at the beginning of "Strangers In The Night" where the tape was flipped over and clicked to continue recording. But still good.
