There is no way in hell that U2 should get best rock song and that Green Day gets best rock band!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't get me wrong, I'm a green day fan but what about Velvet Revolver????? "Slither, Sucker Train Blues, and Dirty little thing" are 10 times better songs than anything U2 or Green Day has on the radio!!!:rant: So many other great bands were overlooked this year and I think the whole rap, rhythm and blues, pop thing is waaaaaaaaaaaaay overblown at these award shows and in the media. If you stopped 90% of people on the street and asked them to name an Alicia Keys song....I bet my life you'd hear silence.

It pisses me off that heavier rock bands with real talent are ignored at these stupid award shows.

I like pretty much everything U2 have done with the exception of Popmart. try and name any other band that have consistently charted without ever having a line up change for 22/23 years. I think U2 deserve the respect.

U2 have some good stuff...but i've never heard velvet revolvers tunes.

Anyway, i hate music award shows because in my opinion 99% of the people receiving those awards don't deserve them at all. The majority of people winning are lip syncers and don't write their own songs..
