I did an improv today on this little Mississippi slide blue thang, created with Garage Band.
The steel guitar and the upright bass are loops, while the rest is done with my Wolfgang on the neck pickup and the Line6 POD 2.0, on a Small Tweed amp setting, recorded dry.
The amp might have been overdriven too much I realize, but I'm too lazy to redo the bit. Sorry!

cool jam there !

my dream is to get a mac and garage band so i can ditch my crappy pc hehehe

sounds like a great program ... sounds like you've been practicing your blues scales CC as well as blues licks which is really cool mate ! .. i enjoyed it alot .. only one thing maybe when you start soloing maybe bring down the loop a little bit in volume so your soloing stands out that little bit more .. other than that .. foot tappingly good !

It may be my speaker setup i'd be interested to see what others think ..

i have a strange setup and i've found with my own stuff especially, certain things and instruments/solos come through more so than others .. but it would be completely different on other computers :dunno:

so if anyone can give a second opinion that would be great :thumb:

I prolly shouldn't comment so much on mixing when i'm unsure of how it really sounds outside of my wacky speakers hehe

again nice soloing there CC :)

The guitar tone does sound pretty good, but it did feel like the lead part and the slide part were conflicting with each other.
You're right. I can hear it too. I was deaf to it last nite, but now it's more obvious.
So much for rusing things. I prolly did the entire thing in 20 minutes, counting making the BT.

Killer playing and tone, bro!!! :jam: I didn't find too much clashing here with the two parts....although I might have lowered the volume a tad on the lead guitar. The slide work in phenomenal!!!
Ooops, let me correct you here. I did not play the slide. That was a loop.
The bass is also a loop and only the guitar is my work. :D
